Meet The Team
A huge part of our team of creative visionaries are our designers Laura and Megan. As always they are busy at work creating our new pieces, and are super busy just now with our new collection for spring/summer. But we found the time to take some snaps and introduce them to you.
Meet our girls...
Introduce yourself and tell us what you do at Blunt?
Megan: I'm Megan, part of the design team. I design, develop patterns and i'm a garnment technologist.
How did you land your job at Blunt and when did you join the team?
Megan: In July 2012 after graduating from Heriot Watt University, i went to Marbella with my friends to celebrate. When i came back i noticed Fashion Frank were adverting for designers on Facebook, so i messaged them, they replied and i had an interview the next day!
What advice would you give to someone wanting to get a job in your role?
Megan: Be persistent, contact people often via email or phone. It's competitive and they will remember you more that way, rather than just reading a CV.
Most memorable moment at Blunt so far?
Megan: I remember the first photo shoot and seeing the clothes I had made on our model Danielle for Blunt.
Favourite part of the job?
Megan: Being able to take part and style different photo shoots and seeing garments i've made teamed with different accessories for a complete look.
Favourite item from this season?
Megan: The deep 'v' dress, in orange/lime green. It's bold, and neons are this seasons must have trend.
Style/fashion icon?
Megan: I like to follow a lot of fashion bloggers online who post unique street fashion. My favourites on instagram are maffashion and sydney fashion blogger.

Our team of designers are hard at work preparing new designs. This collection is bang on trend, think bold patterns, bright colours and new amazing cuts which are perfect for warmer days.
